A Nigerian fintech app for wallet, bill payments, and gift cards. Currently in closed testing on Google Play, with an Apple developer account in process for an upcoming iOS TestFlight build. Wallet runs on Paystack, bill payments (airtime, data, cable TV, electricity) run on Flutterwave, and the backend runs on 18+ Supabase edge functions with audit-trail logging and PIN-protected flows.

01 The brief
What they needed.
Beepex needed a financial app that people would actually trust with their money. That meant rock-solid security, no downtime, and a user experience clean enough that someone could top up airtime or settle an electricity bill in under 30 seconds. The app had to handle a real wallet, four kinds of bill payments, and gift card redemption, and every transaction had to leave an audit trail. In fintech, one broken payment and the user is gone.
02 Our approach
How we built it.
We built the app in Flutter with Riverpod 3.1 for state, GoRouter for navigation, fpdart for typed error handling, and a clean architecture split across features (auth, wallet, bills, gift cards, profile), core utilities, services, and models.
The wallet is Paystack-powered with PIN-protected transfers. Bill payments run on Flutterwave covering airtime, data, cable TV subscriptions, and electricity, with saved templates for recurring bills.
The backend lives on 18+ Supabase edge functions handling wallet-* operations, flw-* bill processing, gift card redemption, push notifications, and broadcast messaging. Every transaction writes an audit-trail log and every sensitive action requires a PIN. Runtime protection uses freerasp and secrets are kept in flutter_secure_storage.
