Davrich Photography
Davrich Photography is a portrait, wedding and family photography studio on Ovie Whiskey Street in Benin City, run by photographer Egbon Richard. We designed and built the studio's new website to replace its old Strikingly page: the studio's own photographs lead every page, and every booking path ends in a WhatsApp chat.

01 The brief
What they needed.
The studio's old site was a generic page-builder template. A portrait studio needs its work to sell the session, a booking path that matches how clients actually reach the photographer, and a site that feels as crafted as the photographs themselves, on a phone first.
02 Our approach
How we built it.
We built the site on Next.js with TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion and Lenis smooth scroll, deployed to Cloudflare Workers.
The homepage hero is a WebGL2 orbit of the studio's photographs that bend toward the viewer and ripple where you press, with a plain DOM version for devices without WebGL2 and for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
The Work gallery holds 37 of the studio's photographs across portraits, weddings, family, beauty, celebrations and outdoor sessions, with the studio watermark kept clear of interface chrome.
Booking runs through WhatsApp and email, and the site follows the visitor's system theme, with light and dark modes available from the footer.
