A letter tracing and alphabet learning app for children aged 4 and up, including kids with Down syndrome. Currently in TestFlight on iOS and closed testing on Google Play in six languages, with a bunny character named Elli guiding kids through tracing, drag-and-drop word matching, flash cards, and printable worksheets.

Children, including kids with Down syndrome, learn the alphabet best through hands-on, repetitive, sensory-rich practice. Off-the-shelf education apps were too fast, too text-heavy, or too dependent on reading the instructions first. The team needed a single-purpose app focused on letter recognition, letter tracing with haptic feedback, and sound-symbol association, with a calm bunny mascot guiding each session and full multi-language support so families across Europe could use the app in their own language.
We built the app in Flutter with Provider for state management, GoRouter for navigation, and a feature-first clean architecture spread across packages for core utilities, features, and shared widgets.
Children trace letters with real-time visual feedback and haptics, play drag-and-drop word and picture matching, work through flash cards, and download printable worksheets for offline practice. Every screen is voice-prompted and gamified with the Elli bunny character.
Accessibility is built in. Text case can be toggled between uppercase, lowercase, and normal so kids see letters in the form their curriculum uses. Hit targets are oversized, audio guidance runs throughout, and the entire app ships in six fully localised languages: English, German, Serbian, Dutch, Russian, and Ukrainian.
Authentication, storage, and content sync run on AWS Amplify with Cognito, S3, and a GraphQL API via AppSync. Firebase Analytics tracks engagement so the team knows which games children actually use. We own TestFlight, App Store, and Google Play release management end to end.
Concrete results, not promises. Each line is something the client now has in production.
