Open SourceWebsite Launch Audit CLINigeria
shipcheck is our open-source command-line tool, written in Rust, that audits a website before launch. Point it at a live URL or a local build folder: it crawls every page, checks every link and resource once, and reports what would embarrass a team after launch. Its exit code makes it a CI gate.

Open source, CI on three operating systems
01 The brief
Broken links, blank link previews, images without descriptions and missing basics like robots.txt usually surface after launch, in front of clients. We wanted one fast check that runs on every pull request and fails the build before those reach production.
02 Our approach
A Rust CLI that crawls a live site or a local build folder and checks each link and resource once.
It reports broken links, missing link-preview images, images without descriptions, oversized images, and missing viewport tags, robots.txt and sitemap.xml.
A non-zero exit code on failure turns it into a CI gate, so a pull request that breaks a link fails the build.
03 Outcomes
Concrete results, not promises. Each line is something that exists and works today.

Works on live URLs and on local build output
Exit code doubles as a CI gate on every pull request
