In fintech, you do not get a second first impression. One payment that fails, one balance that looks wrong, one screen that feels unsafe, and the user is gone for good, usually without telling you why.
That was the bar Beepex had to clear. And today, we are proud to share that it cleared it: Beepex is now live on Google Play.
Beepex is a Nigerian fintech app that Icoweb Agency designed and built from the ground up. It brings your everyday money into one secure place, a wallet, bill payments, and gift cards, all in a single app. Android users can download it right now, and the iOS version is in preparation for the App Store.
The brief: make money simple, without ever making it feel risky
The idea behind Beepex is easy to say and hard to engineer. Let anyone handle their everyday money in seconds, and never once make them wonder whether it is safe. Everything we built came back to those two demands at the same time: speed and trust.
Here is what that turned into.
A real wallet. Users fund their wallet in seconds and move money with confidence, with every transfer protected by a PIN.
Bills in a few taps. Airtime and data on every network, plus cable TV and electricity, paid in seconds. Recurring bills can be saved so the next payment is almost instant.
Gift cards, the easy way. Redeem and sell gift cards at strong rates, with a clean flow from upload to payout.
Security you feel on every action. Sensitive actions need a PIN, every transaction writes an audit trail, and the app is hardened with runtime protection and secure storage for sensitive data.
How we built it
Beepex is a Flutter app built on a clean, feature based architecture, with the wallet, bills, gift cards, sign in, and profile cleanly separated. That structure keeps the codebase easy to reason about and ready to grow as the product does.
Behind the app sits a backend of more than eighteen Supabase edge functions handling wallet operations, bill processing, gift card redemption, and notifications. Payments run on Paystack for the wallet and Flutterwave for bills. Crucially, security was a requirement from day one, not a layer added at the end: PIN protected flows, audit trail logging on every transaction, runtime protection against tampering, and encrypted storage for anything sensitive.

Getting a fintech product into a public app store is not a formality. It means the security holds, the payments reconcile, and the experience is good enough to put your name on. Seeing Beepex go live on Google Play is proof that the work stands up in the real world, in real hands, with real money.
